Introduction to Cake Baking Class



In this class we will be baking: Victoria Sponge Cake / Hazelnut Financiers / Chocolate Brownies w Sea Salt Caramel 

Brush up your baking skills and make Mary Berry proud!  This class is a great way to build your confidence with some classic bakes, each using a different method.

Learn how to make a proper Victoria sponge using the creaming method. We are going to fill the Victoria sponge cake with home-made lemon curd and Chantilly cream.
Moving on to some delicious brownies that we promise will be a sure hit with family and friends! If you thought brownies couldn't get any better then try adding some sea salt caramel and you've gone straight to cake heaven!
Finally we will make some hazelnut financiers using noisette butter which gives these cakes the perfect "melt-in-your-mouth" texture.
This is a 3.5 hour long class. Coffee, tea and a home baked treat will be served upon arrival.  You will take home all the cakes that you bake.
