French Pastry Class



In this class we will be baking: Financiers / Chocolate Eclairs / French Fruit Tartlets

I surely can’t be the only one caught drooling over small beautiful pastries in fancy shops across London – not to mention Paris! If you want how to make these treats at home, then this is the class for you.

In this class, you will learn how to make the quintessential French Fruit Tartlet, using your own freshly made batch of sweet pastry and crème patissière – an essential and versatile patisserie staple. Moist and fragrant Raspberry Financier cakes will leave you confident of whipping up a little mouthful of something gorgeous for teatime à la française. And lastly, a Chocolate Eclair finished will complete your mouthwatering pastry collection. We even send you home with some fresh sweet pastry and a Sablé biscuit recipe to try at home, so you can confidently re-create a Parisian patisserie in your own kitchens!

This is a 5.5 hour long class. Coffee, tea and a home baked treat will be served upon arrival and a light lunch will be served halfway through the class.  You will take home all the cakes that you bake.
