Dear Bakers,Happy 2020 Everyone! I think we all need to celebrate that we made it through a wet and damp January… I don’t really believe in diets, especially not in January when you need all the cheering up (preferably laced with sugar) that you can get! If you have been to one of my baking classes you would know that I get a lot of repeaters (which is amazing - as this is basically how I make new friends!). This is also how I get inspiration (ie requests) for new baking classes. New classes for 2020 include: Italian Baking Class 23rd April: Ciabatta, Pannacotta, Cantuccini & Pine Nut Tart Breakfast Treats Class 28th April: Danish Pastries, Banana Bread w Walnuts Small Cakes & Big Flavours Class 23rd June: Lemon Tart, Banana Toffee Bundt Cakes, Black Bottom Chocolate Cupcakes Scandinavian Baking Class 19th March: Cinnamon Buns, Almond & Coconut Cake, Danish Butter Cookies I also have another exciting announcement to make: On the 27th April I will be hosting a Mexican Cooking Class taught by the talented chef Gabi Arellano. I’ve updated my Class Calendar with more dates (I am getting lots emails asking for classes in June & July - some people are much more organised than I am!) I have added one weekend date as well as week day classes in May & June. See the full class calendar here. Half-term class - on Thursday the 20th February I will be running my Patisserie & Petits Fours class. Come and learn how to bake Macarons, Financiers and Madeleines. Children under the age of 15 can attend with a paying adult. My Culinary Holiday in Tuscany this May - from 3-8th May - is almost fully booked. So if you want to have the holiday of a lifetime, please get in touch to reserve your place! It’s the 10th time I am running this holiday and it continues to be one of the highlights of the year for both me and my family (someone needs to do the dishes!). I hope to see many of you back in my baking baking kitchen this Spring. Happy Baking! Maria x
