We Love

We are very lucky to have met and be working with some brilliant people and we would like to share with you their details

The London Jam Factory

Confiturier Pierre-Louis Phelipot makes jams inspired by the gift of a preserving pan from his mother.

“In making jam, I have discovered the love of fruits, their perfume, the colours, the contrasts between fruits and spices or herbs, and the combination of incongruous flavours and texture. I wanted to share this with my family, my friends and with you!

With the use of the finest fruit, spices and magical ideas The London Jam Factory create a collection of jams like no other, winner of three great taste awards and the perfect sweet gift.

Gin Tales

It is gin, what's not to love?

Gin Tales are making extra special gin though. Like us they started small and experimented on friends and families, and like us they believe in not adding chemicals or 'weird stuff' to their creations. As a result of hard work and passion Gin Tales have created a range of gins and infusions that would make the perfect gift for a really brilliant person or the perfect treat to be kept to yourself.

Jo Heckett

We love Jo Heckett's work and not just because she uses cookie cutters and say's her studio is just like a bakery!

Working from her studio at London’s Cockpit Arts, Jo Heckett  makes colourful porcelain gifts, jewellery and magnets. She specialises in both bespoke and ‘off the peg’ items, with cute and quirky gifts for weddings, engagements, Christenings, birthdays and especially Christmas. She has loads of fresh ideas to make a special occasion even more special, and is happy to personalise any of her standard items, as well as to create something totally new.

We adore this award-winning artisan confectionery collection that offer a range of luxury and natural sweet

premium outlets, Lavolio sweets are lovingly handmade by artisans using a traditional Italian confectionery technique and are vegetarian and gluten free.

We think they make a wonderful gift but an even better treat to keep to yourself!

KitchenAid

 KitchenAid

When we built the Baking Lab, we wanted to make sure that it was equipped with domestic appliances so that everything you learn with us can be easily recreated at home.

The iconic KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer is on hand to sharpen your culinary skills. Coveted by Professionals and Home Cooks worldwide, KitchenAid provides the perfect blend of ageless design and outstanding engineering to produce excellent results every time.

You might be interested to know that KitchenAid has extended its expertise into major appliances which we also use in the Baking Lab.

We love their products, we think you will too.

Shipton Mill

We feel very strongly that you need to start with excellent ingredients in order to ensure an excellent result. This is why we choose to work with Shipton Mill flour. Shipton Mill know everything there is to know about grains and the characteristics needed in flour to produce perfect bakes.

Shipton Mill is well known by professional bakers, but they do cater for the home baker too.

Set in a beautiful Cotswold valley near Tetbury, the mill at Shipton Moyne Wood has been producing flour since the time of the Domesday Book. Today it produces a wide variety of Speciality Flours, using both traditional grain and traditional methods.

Victoria Eggs

Victoria Eggs is a brilliantly British gift and homeware brand. Award winning designer Victoria Eggs (yes... that is her real name!) has won our hearts with her fun and playful designs which proudly salute all that makes Britain British.

Having grown up in Hertfordshire, the idea of London always appealed to Victoria and even now, she is still thrilled by the city, forever taking photos to capture its spirit. Having Graduated from Birmingham Institute of Art & Design in 2005 with a BA in Fine Art, Victoria began by designing greeting cards and went on (via Australia) to set up her own company in 2011.

We love all their products, but of course our firm favourite is the newly launched Baking Delight range!

Snaps & Rye

We love a brilliant local restaurant and we are particularly excited about Snaps and Rye as it is Danish, a little piece of home for Maria, and a wonderful one at that! You will find classic Danish dishes in very cool and cosy surroundings. They sell also various Danish gift foods and ingredients and possibly the best coffee in London.

Look out for the pop up baking workshops we will be running with them in the future

Cocoa Bijoux

Chocolate is a firm favourite in The Baking Lab, and Cocoa Bijoux is a local gem of a chocolatier that we just have to recommend. Based in West Hampstead, but with some products available to buy online, Cocoa Bijoux stock luxury products that are made in small batches with the very finest ingredients. The man behind the shop knows all there is to know so we suggest you pay him a visit
